Shrimp & Grits


Passion the Restaurant's Chef Garett Barner stopped by to show us how they make their Shrimp & Grits



Ingredients:

9 Jumbo Shrimp
9 Slices Prosciutto Ham
1 Cup Stone Ground White Grits
3 Cups Chicken Stock
1 Cup Heavy Cream
¼ Cup White Cheddar Cheese
Salt & Pepper to Taste
3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
BBQ Sauce

Directions:

1. In a large sauce pan, combine grits, stock and cream.
2. Bring to a boil over high heat and reduce to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. Add butter and cheese to melt.
3. Wrap each shrimp with the prosciutto ham.
In a large non-stick skillet, on medium heat, sauté shrimp for 4 minutes on each side.
4. Divide grits into 3 serving bowls and place 3 shrimp in the center of each bowl, then drizzle with BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
