Whole Smoked Beef Brisket
Ingredients:
whole beef brisketminors beef base
minors au jus
hickory prime bbq all purpose rub
honey
apple juice
hickory wood or chips
Directions:
-Combine 3 tbls beef base, 3 tbls au jus, 32 oz water in pot. Warm until dissolved.-Allow to cool.
-Inject brisket point with 4oz., and the flat with 12 oz.
-Place brisket and remaining injection in a large bag and marinate for four hours.
-Smoke brisket 3 to 3.5 hrs spritzing brisket with apple juice every 30-40 min to keep from drying out.
-Wrap brisket in aluminum foil with 6 oz honey and 4 oz of apple juice.
-Cook brisket until internal temp reaches 203 degrees.
-Remove form cooker and let stand 3-4 minutes.
-Slice and Enjoy.
