Breakfast Sausage Pinwheels


The Bachelor Kitchen's Chris Hill made Breakfast Sausage Pinwheels.



Ingredients:

1 can crescent rolls
1/2 lb. Spicy Pork Sausage
1 cup Sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
¼ cup diced bell pepper
¼ cup diced shallot
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp Fresh Thyme, picked from stems

Directions:

-Roll out crescent rolls evenly.
-Seal perforations and spread sausage evenly over entire surface. Coat evenly with peppers, onions, garlic, thyme, and finish with cheese. Roll lengthwise like a jelly roll and seal all edges.
-Slice in 1/2 inch sections and lay them on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
-When dough begins to brown, so will the sausage and dish will be ready to serve.
