Ribs with a Cherry Coke BBQ Sauce


Cinebistro's Executive Chef John Gibbons made Ribs with a Cherry Coke BBQ Sauce.



Ingredients:

St Louis Style Ribs AN
Rib Dunk (50/50 Water and Liquid Smoke) AN
Salt and Pepper TT
Plastic Wrap
Aluminum Foil
Chives, Optional

Directions:

1. Dunk ribs in the mixture of water and liquid smoke and allow excess to drain off.
2. Place ribs in single layer on a baking sheet. Season evenly with salt and pepper. Allow to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
3. Cook sealed in a slow oven (300 degrees F) until fall-off-the-bone tender. It is important to have the baking sheet completely sealed to cook the ribs with “moist” heat at this stage.
4. Allow to cool.
5. Grill or Broil the ribs with the Cherry coke BBQ to caramelize slightly.
6. Serve with additional sauce, and garnish with chives if desired.
